Biography
Graduated with Lode in Computer Engineering at "Federico II" University of Naples, he obtained his PhD in Electronic Engineering and Computer Engineering at the same University. From 1999 to 2004 he was a University Researcher at the "Federico II" University of Naples, from 2004 to 2008 Associate Professor at the same University, since 2008 is Associate Professor at the University of Salerno in the scientific-disciplinary field " Information Processing Systems "(ING-INF / 05). His scientific interests focused on the fields of Pattern Recognition and Computer Vision. In particular, the research focused on basic methodologies, including the development of graphing and learning algorithms based on graphs and soft computing techniques, and applications in areas such as video and video analysis, video intelligent surveillance, biomedical imaging analysis and image-based diagnosis support systems, robotic vision.
