Biography
Enrico Fischetti graduated in 1973 from Physics at the University of Naples and in 1976 graduated from the University of Salerno's Advanced Diploma in Cybernetics and Physics. He has been a professor in charge from 1976 to 1980. Since 1980 he is an associate professor at the Faculty of Science of the University of Salerno. He currently holds the Department of Informatics. He has been a referee for national and international magazines and conferences and has been part of numerous scientific committees. Initially he conducted his research activity in the field of formal languages ​​(deterministic language analyzers) and image processing (transformed signals and texturing analysis). Subsequently, research was focused on the use of new information technologies in the educational field. In particular, original architectures have been developed for modules of an Intelligent Tutoring System. User modeling issues have also been analyzed, particularly with regard to the impact of artificial intelligence on hypermedia systems. More specifically, the properties of a particular BL-algebra and its applicability to e-learning and decision-making issues have been investigated. Currently the research work focuses on the theoretical and application aspects of specific fuzzy structures.
