Biography

Filomena Ferrucci is an Ordinary Professor of Computer Science (ssd INF / 01) since November 2011. He graduated with praise in Information Science in 1990 at the University of Salerno. In 1995 he earned the title of PhD in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science at Federico II University in Naples. From 1995 to 2001 he was a researcher at the University of Salerno, where he served as associate professor from 2001 to 2011. He is a professor of the Software Engineering Course for the Three Year Degree in Informatics and the Software Management Project Management Course for Computer Science Degree. His main research interests include software engineering (software development, cost / effort prediction, fault prediction, software metrics, web engineering, search-based software engineering, empirical software engineering), human-machine interaction , usability of software and visual languages. He has also been involved in logical programming and e-learning. In recent years, special attention has been paid to metric studies to measure the functional dimension of software products and to estimate the effort required for their development. These activities are crucial to determining production costs and planning software projects, and are therefore critical to the competitiveness of companies operating in software production. He is co-author of more than 150 scientific articles published in international journals, chapters of international books and international conference papers and co-editors of 3 volumes. He has been a member of the Program Committee for numerous international conferences and workshops. He has provided advice as an auditor for various international journals.
