Biography

Graduated with praise in Mathematics in 1976, at the University of Naples.  University Researcher Confirmed at the University of Naples from 1982 to 1987.  Associate Professor of Algebra at the University of Naples from 1987 to 1996. Extraordinary Professor of Algebra from 1996 to 1999.  Since November 1999 he is an ordinary professor of Algebra at the University of Salerno.  He has published over 70 works on various international journals.  He wrote, in collaboration with Professors Mario Curzio and Patrizia Longobardi, the texts "Lectures of Algebra", Liguori, Naples, 1994, 1996, and "Algebra Exercises - A Collection of Examination Tests", Liguori, Naples, 1995, He wrote, in collaboration with Professor Patrizia Longobardi and Doctors Constantine Delizia and Chiara Nicotera, the text "Discrete Mathematics", MacGraw Hill, Milan, 2009.  She has followed numerous students in the preparation of her doctoral thesis.  He has attended many courses and conferences and stays abroad, holding numerous conferences.  Since 1999 he has been a member of the College of PhD students in Mathematical Sciences, University of Naples Federico II, Second University of Naples, University of Salerno. Between 1998-2000, 2000-2002, 2002-2004, 2007-2009 she was Salerno's Scientific Director of the National Project "Theory of Groups and Applications". He is currently responsible for the Salerno research unit of the same project funded for the two-year period 2009-20011 (expiry of October 2013).  In the years 1996-1999, 1999-2002, he was president of the Master of Science in Mathematics at the University of Salerno and in the three years 2002-2005 he was chairman of the Mathematics Learning Area Council of the University of Salerno .  He serves as referee for several international journals. It is part of the auditors' list for evaluation of ministerial research programs.  He is a member of AMS and MUM
