Biography
Vincenzo Matta is Associate Professor of Telecommunications at the Department of Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Applied Mathematics at the University of Salerno. His research interests mainly concern statistical data processing and information theory, with emphasis on the links between statistical inference, communications and security in distributed systems, learning on adaptive networks, tracking and data merging in systems multi-user and multi-object, on the revelation of gravitational waves. He is author of about 90 publications, international journals and international congress events. Vincenzo Matta is Associate Editor for IEEE Transactions on Signal and Information Processing over Networks, IEEE Signal Processing Letters, and IEEE Transactions on Aerospace and Electronic Systems. The teaching activity of Vincenzo Matta is based on the statistical processing of signals and communications. Specific topics covered during courses include: theory of revelation and estimation, signal theory, information theory, digital communications, wireless communications, telecommunication networks.
