Biography
Angela Nigro graduated in Physics with honors in 1987 at the University of Salerno. He is currently associate professor of SSD FIS / 01. He has conducted his didactic and tutorial activity in Physics General II (Electromagnetism), General Physics Laboratory (error theory and mechanical experiments), Physics II (Thermology and Optics) Laboratory Physics III ( electrical circuits), Complements of Physics (Optics Ondulatoria) at the degree in Physics and Chemistry. The research activity is aimed at the realization and characterization of superconducting materials in bulk and thin film and tunnel devices and Josephson. Specifically, the activity relates to measurements and analysis of normal and superconducting properties of Nb, NbN, NbxTi1-x, (NbxTi1-x) N and high Tc superconductors such as ReBCO, BISCCO and NCCO. A detailed study of the structure of these materials is carried out by SEM, EDS and X-ray diffractometry, while the transport properties are studied by means of resistivity measurements, characteristic IV. Part of the activity is devoted to the study of the characteristics of devices based on superconducting electrodes.
