Biography

The professor. Aldo Pinto graduated in Pharmacy and specializes in Pharmacology at Federico II University in Naples. After graduating, he completed his scientific maturity for a period of more than two years in the USA at the Department of Pharmacology at New York Medical College. He became a researcher in the Pharmacology (SSD BIO / 14) discipline in 1984 at Federico II University in Naples. From 1992 to 1999 he is Associate Professor at the Federico II University in Naples and then at the University of Salerno, where he moved from 1995 to today. Since 1999 he is an Ordinary Professor of Pharmacology. Since 1998, as a pharmacologist, he is a member of the Local Ethics Committee of Ethics SA1 and becomes President from 2001 to 2005. Since 2007, as a pharmacist, is a member and Chairman of the Independent Ethics Committee of AOS John of God and Ruggi D'Aragona of Salerno. Since 2009 she has been a pharmacologist of the ASL AV Ethics Committee. Since 2014 he has been a member of the North Campania Ethics Committee. From 2002 to 2006 he was Director of the School of Specialization in Hospital Pharmacy at the University of Salerno. From 2006 to 2010 he was Director of the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Salerno. From 2011 to 2012 he was Director of the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Biomedical Sciences at the University of Salerno. Since 2013 he is Chairman of the CdS in Pharmacy at the University of Salerno. Since 2014 he has been a member of the North Campania Ethics Committee. From 2002 to 2006 he was Director of the School of Specialization in Hospital Pharmacy at the University of Salerno. From 2006 to 2010 he was Director of the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Salerno. From 2011 to 2012 he was Director of the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Biomedical Sciences at the University of Salerno. Since 2013 he is Chairman of the CdS in Pharmacy at the University of Salerno. Since 2014 he has been a member of the North Campania Ethics Committee. From 2002 to 2006 he was Director of the School of Specialization in Hospital Pharmacy at the University of Salerno. From 2006 to 2010 he was Director of the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Salerno. From 2011 to 2012 he was Director of the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Biomedical Sciences at the University of Salerno. Since 2013 he is Chairman of the CdS in Pharmacy at the University of Salerno. The main scientific interest of prof. Pinto is the pharmacology of cardiovascular system, inflammation and tumor development. He was the local head of PRIN projects in 1999, 2001, 2003, 2008 and 2010. His scientific activity is proven by over 130 publications in international scientific journals. The professor. Pinto maintains relationships with many Italian and foreign laboratories.
