Biography
Born in Casablanca, Morocco, Abdelaziz Rhandi received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Marrakech (Morocco), the first Ph.D. from the University of Besançon (France) and the second Ph.D. in the University of Tuebingen (Germany) . From 1995 to 1999, he was Associate Professor of Mathematics at the University of Marrakech. Since 1999, he is an Ordinary Professor of Mathematics. In 2003 he won the prestigious scholarship of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation with which he became a member. Since 2006 he is an Ordinary Professor of Analysis at the University of Salerno. He has been visiting professor at various universities in Algeria, France, Germany, Italy, Tunisia and the United States of America. He is author of more than 60 publications, published in international journals and International Acts of Congress. He has been rapporteur and co-rapporteur for 10 PhD thesis theses and 14 thesis degrees in Morocco, Germany, Italy and Tunisia. He was the winner of the HP Technology for Teaching Higher Education Award in 2006. It has participated in more than 50 international congresses and has organized around 20 international conferences and workshops. Currently, he is Associate Editor of Positivity, ISRN Mathematical Analysis, Abstract and Applied Analysis, and Editor of the following journals: Journal of Semigroup Theory and Applications, Semigroup Forum, Mathematical Notes and Journal of Algerian Mathematical Society.
