Born in Naples on 16/11/1957 1983: Degree in Medicine and Surgery, University of Naples. 1987: Specialization in Ophthalmology, University of Naples. 1987-1988: Fellowship in Ophthalmic Echography, University of Iowa, USA. 1990-1999: Technical Officer University of Naples 1999- 2012: Associate Professor Visual Implants. 1/11/2009 - 30/12/2011: Director of University Department of Ophthalmology II University of Naples (SUN) 12/28/12: Extraordinary Professor Visual illnesses 7 / 1990- 10/1999: Dept. of Ophthalmology DAS of Naples University. 11/1999 - 7/10/01: SUN Ophthalmology DAS Level I Doctor. 8/10 / 01-30 / 12/2011 Level II Medical Manager of SUN Fluorangiography and Laser Therapy Doctoral Coordinator in "Optical and Clinical Problems of Refractive Defects and Their Surgical Correction" (XVIII Cycle). 1998-2002: International Society for Diagnostic Ultrasound in Ophthalmology (SIDUO). 2003- 2008: President of International Society for Diagnostic Ultrasound in Ophthalmology (SIDUO). 2001 - 2012: Vice-President of the Italian Society of Ophthalmology Ultrasound (SIEO).
