Biography
Dr. Simona Pisanti is a researcher at University of Salerno in Department of Medicine and Surgery. She completed her Master degree in the field of Biotechnology in the year of 2002 and earned PhD in Molecular Oncology and Endocrinology in 2008. She was a Research associate (postdoctoral fellow) funded by Italian Foundation for Cancer Research (FIRC) for the project “Role of the endocannabinoid system in angiogenesis” at the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Salerno as an Adjunct Professor at University of Naples and University of Salerno. She is a Researcher at the University of Salerno, Department of Medicine and Surgery, Experimental medicine and pathophysiology. Dr. Pisanti has been the author of 34 papers on peer-reviewed international journals, 7 conferences as invited speaker, 36 abstracts and 6 conference proceedings on peer-reviewed international journals, a book, a chapter in a book. H index 18. IF (2012) 203.908. She has also reviewed for international journals and research councils; and is the winner of 6 prizes, such as Best junior researcher in 2006, Tihany, Hungary; Excellent researcher in 2011, Salerno; Start Cup Campania 2013.
