Galilei" high school in Potenza, as 1978/79 Graduated in Hydraulic Civil Engineering at the University of Naples Federico II, aa1984 / 85. In the years 1993, 1994 and 1998 he was visiting scientist at the MIT (Civil Engineering and Environmental Engineering Department) of the MIT In the years 1998-2001 he was Professor of Hydraulic Buildings and Hydraulic Protection of the Territory at the University of Parma In 2013 he was a lecturer of a Hydrology module at the Master de Hidràulica Urbana of the University of Buenos Aires
