Fundamental quantities and physical properties of liquids. Hydrostatic: Stevino's law, thrusts on flat and curved walls. Hydrodynamics of the perfect fluids: Euler equations and continuity equation, Bernoulli's theorem. Foronomia. Global equations of motion and continuity, dynamic thrusts. Real fluids: motion in viscous and turbulent regime, abacus of Moody continuous and concentrated load losses. Uniform motion of pressurized currents: project problems; verification of the operation of simple pipelines and pipeline systems. Filtration motions: Darcy's law, extraction from artesian and phreatic layers. Elements of hydrometry. Overview of current profiles for free-flowing currents in permanent motion gradually varying.
