Biography
Alessio Ricci has been a researcher in Italian Linguistics since 2007. He is a member of ASLI and of SILFI. He is editor of the scientific journal «Italian Linguistic Studies». He is part of the PhD program in "Historical linguistics, linguistic and Italian linguistics" of the University for Foreigners of Siena. His main research has focused on the language of family books and diaries, the prose of Galileo and Leopardi, the verbal phonomorfology of ancient Italian, poetry in octaves.
Research Interest
Syntax and textuality of Italian written in synchrony and in diachrony; Fonomorfology of Italian from the fourteenth to the nineteenth century & Grammaticography of Italian between the 18th and 19th centuries.
