Biography
Andrea Valzania is a researcher (letter B) in Sociology (SPS07). Graduated in Political Science with honors in 1998 from the University of Florence, he completed his studies with a scholarship from the Tuscany Region for the training of experts in active employment policies (1999) and with a specialization scholarship in "Economics and sociology of work "at the Irpet (2000). In 2002 he entered the PhD in Sociology at the University of Florence which he completed in 2005. During the same year he was a Research Assistant at the European University Institute of Florence until 2006. Subsequently he was a research fellow at the University of Florence (until 2011) and advises on social policies for the Tuscany Region, collaborating in the research activities promoted by the Regional Social Observatory.
