Biography
Graduated from the University of Brussels (1979), with qualification for teaching and specialization in Italian Studies (1980). Scholarship holder at the Scuola Normale Superiore, Pisa (1980-1982). PhD, Univ. Of Bologna (1987). Lecturer of French language at the Universities of Pisa and Florence (1988-1994), then researcher of French Language and Literature at the University of Siena (1994-2002). Since 2002, associate professor; since 2016, full professor. Vice-coordinator of the PhD in «Philology and Criticism» of the University of Siena. President of the Language Center (CLA) of the University of Siena (2011-2016), he is now teaching director of the CLA office in Arezzo at the DSFUCI
