Biography
She was born in Siena on 10th April 1972. She graduated with honors in Biological Sciences at University of Siena in 1997 and obtained a Ph.D in Molecular Medicine. Currently she is Assistant Professor of Comparative Anatomy and Cytology and member of Teaching Committee for Degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology. She has published papers in international journals in the field of glycobiology of fertilization. Her research activity is mainly focused on glycobiology of cancer and normal cells, with particular regard to fucosylated biological molecules and to organelles organization, and on the liposomes as drug delivery systems.
