Biography
Since 1987 working at the University of Siena, she followed till 2012 the Botanic Garden and part time the Herbarium. Since 2002 permanent researcher and temporary professor. Her research interest is addressed to Mycology, with emphasis on macromycetes. Cooperate in projects; invited speaker; reviewer. Member of the European Council for the Conservation of Fungi, Planta Europa network, World Conservation Union - IUCN Species Survival Commission; secretary of the European Mycological Association; president of the Tuscan section of the Italian Botanical Society
