Biography
Graduated in Philosophy, Ferdinando Abbri (1951) has been Professor of History of Philosophy since 1987 (M-FIL / 06; 11 / C5). He deals with the history of philosophy and ideas in the modern and contemporary age, with specific attention to the relationship between philosophy, magic and science, philosophy and music, philosophy and theology. His most recent works focus on the Socinian tradition in the eighteenth century British, with reference to the theologian and naturalist Joseph Priestley (1733-1804)
