Biography
Luca Bini is Prof of Biochemistry and Proteome Sciences. He graduated in Biology before completing a PhD in Biotechnology. He spent some periods at the Geneva University (Switzerland) where he learned basic proteomic technologies. He is internationally well known as a contributor to the foundation of proteome science and he is the responsible of the Functional Proteomics lab. at the Siena University. Prof. Bini is one of the founders of the European Proteomics Association as well as of the Italian Proteomics Association and he is on the editorial boards of several leading proteomics journals.
Research Interest
His research interest is basically in Functional Proteomics.
