Biography
Paolo Piccari is an associate professor of theoretical philosophy, as well as a professor of Argumentation theory and ethics and sustainability of organizations. He also obtained his eligibility as an ordinary professor of theoretical philosophy. He directs (with Mariano Bianca) the series «Beyond / Horizons of philosophical theory» (Mimesis) and the magazines «Anthropology & Philosophy» and «Arkete». He has been a visiting scholar at the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Oxford and the Faculty of Theology of Lugano. Member of the SIFiT (Italian Society of Theoretical Philosophy), he is a member of the National Council of Users (CNU) at the Authority for Communications Guarantees (AGCOM), in charge of the Ethos Observatory - Public Ethics, bioethics and social responsibility and member of the Technical Commission "Social Responsibility of Organizations" of the Italian Standardization Organization. He was director of the training course in "Sustainability, development and responsible consumption" and deputy coordinator of the Master in "Ethics of business, consumption and social responsibility".
