Biography
Sabrina Cavatorto is a confirmed researcher in Political Science (SPS / 04), in service since December 1st 2002. She is a member of the Department of Political and Cognitive Social Sciences. He teaches Social Policy Analysis (Bachelor's Degree) and European Union Politics (Master's Degree), as well as courses on EU Institutions and policies in the II-level Master's Degree Program "Politics and Society in Europe" (MAPSiE), which coordinates 2009-10 academic year. He is a member of the Committee for the teaching of the Degree Course in Social Service Sciences, delegated to practical students and curricular internships, having participated in the 2008-09 of the Authorizing Committee for the reform of the teaching regulations of the same CdL and also, in the three year period 2002 -05 of the CampusOne self-assessment group. He is also a member of the Academic Board of the PhD School in "Political Science - Comparative and European Politics", University of Siena. In the years 2005-09 she was secretary of the Interdepartmental Research Center on Political Change (CIRCaP) , University of Siena, directed by Prof. M. Cotta, with whom she has long collaborated in research projects funded by Miur on the topic multilevel representation and European polity. Research in progress Prin 2009-2011 "National interests and European solidarity. Representation in the supranational polity and challenges of the financial crisis "(coordinator of the University of Milan, Prof. M. Ferrera). Still on the topic of representation in multilevel polity, she was responsible for the project "Italian Parliament and Europeanization of national policy making" funded in 2002, Young Researchers Project, University of Siena. He is currently participating as a rapporteur on Italy in the project "OPAL - Observatory on National Parliaments after Lisbon", coordinated by the University of Cologne, Institut für Politische Wissenschaft und Europäische Fragen, Prof. W. Wessels (2012-14). In 2008-09 he also joined Prof. P. Isernia as deputy director in the project "EuroPolis - A European Polity-making Project (EuP)", funded in the Seventh Framework Program of the European Commission.To mention the other side of research always explored with regard to the processes of change of institutional systems in the context of multi-level governance, related to the governance of the regulation (participation in activities on the analysis of the impact of the regulation of the Public Function Department and Formez, Rome).
