Biography
Stefano Iacoviello (Jacoviello) dedicates his research to music, arts and the phenomena of interculturality, crossing the semiotic gaze with anthropology, aesthetics and the theory of art. He plays the role of scientific coordinator in several international projects on the relationship between heritage, memory and performing arts. Particularly involved in the field of cultural production in the area, he has overseen the planning of the contents of music and theater festivals . He is the author of essays, contributions in catalogs and articles in scientific journals. As a musician , he writes music for the scene, videos, performances and installations, including: Venus Devoilée - La Venus d'Urbino du Titien, exhibition curated by U. Eco and O. Calabrese, Bruxelles, Bozar 2003-04; Emigrants of S. Mrozek, directed by J. Stuhr, Fondazione TeatroDue, Stabile di Parma 2009.
