Research Areas: Biodiversity & Systematics Study Organisms: Plants Research: Vascular plant systematics. Taxonomy and phylogeny of fossil and recent seed plants; analysis and implications of natural and artificial hybridization; numerical taxonomy and cladistics. Emphasis on woody plants (esp. Gymnosperms, Populus), Convolvulaceae.
