Research Interest
Annalisa Buffo has matured skills and collaborations in the field of brain damage repair strategies, taking care of both axonal regeneration and neurogenesis in the adult brain. In addition, he started with Prof. Magdalena Goetz of Munich a research that looks at the glia and progenitors present in the brain parenchyma as an instrument of plasticity of the nervous system and of an endogenous source for the regeneration of oligodendrocytes and neurons.
