Massimo Cerruti is working as Associate Professor (Glottology and Linguistics) at the Department of Humanities, University of Turin, Italy.
Research Interest
Research activity is mainly in the fields of Sociolinguistics, Linguistics of Change and Linguistics of Contact, and mainly refers to the phenomena of sociolinguistic variation of Italian (with particular attention to morphosynthesis) and the structural aspects of contact between Italian and dialects, even in theoretical perspective; I also worked on grammaticalization for contact and lexicalization of motorcycle events
