Optimization and application of fractionation and speciation procedures to assess the toxicity of heavy metals and arsenic present in marine sediments; Determination of the trace and ultrapore content in the atmospheric particulate matter of urban areas (Piedmont) and virtually uncontaminated (Artide); Characterization of Antarctic lake ecosystems (water, seaweed, moss, lichen, sediment and soil); Development and optimization of highly sensitive analytical procedures capable of characterizing and quantifying the inorganic pollutant load present in different environmental matrices.
