Biography
Stefano Ruzza is Assistant Professor of "Conflict, Security and Statebuilding" at the University of Turin. He is also Head of Research of T.wai - Torino World Affairs Institute, with responsibility over the “Violence and Security” research area. His research interests mainly focus around conflict transformation, non-state armed actors in international relations and, more specifically, on private military and security companies.
Research Interest
1) Security concept and its evolution; transformations into the nature and practice of wars and conflicts. 2) Non-State Armed Forces in International Relations. 3) Privatization of violence, especially in its private security firms. 4) Strategy, Strategic Studies and Strategic Theory.
