Research Interest
The research activity is oriented to the evaluation of the in vitro activity of chemoantibiotics and their role in modulating non-specific immunity during bacterial and fungal infections, both in healthy and immunosuppressed subjects. The most recent and current studies are those concerning the evaluation of the antimicrobial activity of alternative drugs, such as essential oils, to study their potential application potential in the clinical field.
