Biography
Prof. Bruno Ronchi is currently working as Professor of Nutrition and Animal Nutrition at the Department of Agricultural and Forestry Sciences (DAFNE) at the University of Tuscia.He is author of more than 200 scientific and technical publications concerning the relationship between metabolism, immune response and well-being in milk ruminants, the effects of thermal heat stress on physiology, health status and productive performance of cattle and sheep, small ruminant breeding systems, quality of bovine, buffalo, sheep and goat milk, contamination of heavy metals and mycotoxins in biological and conventional milk production systems, study of factors influencing the content of somatic cell sheep's milk, the relationship between environmental pollutants (POPs) and food safety of bovine and ovine and derived products and mountainous animal husbandry systems with specific deepening of the link between extensive pasture and biodiversity.He is author of more than 200 scientific and technical publications.
