Biography
Flavia Tauro is currently lecturer in "Fluid Mechanics" and "Modeling and Hydraulic Design" courses at the Department of Innovation in Biological, Agro-Food and Forestry Systems,at the University of Tuscia, Viterbo, Italy.
Research Interest
§ Study of surface hydrological phenomena, with particular reference to flow outflow processes and river channels; § Development of image analysis tools for the estimation of velocity of natural flows and the extraction of hydrological parameters; § Development and characterization of remote pilot aircraft systems for kinematic analysis in natural environments; § Development of innovative tracers for noninvasive observation of surface flows, kinematic characterization of watercourses, and analysis of basin hydrological processes.
