Biography
Prof. Gianluca Piovesan is Professor at the Department of Agriculture and Forests, (DAFNE) of the University of Tuscia.He has been an auditor of numerous scientific articles sent to international leading journals in the fields of ecology and forestry science .He also worked as auditor for texts of international books relating to environmental and forestry disciplines (eg Kluwer Academic Publishers, Praxis Publishing Ltd.
Research Interest
Forests, dendroecological networks, tree longevity, paleo-environmental reconstructions, conservation of nature and forest restoration, environmental monitoring, forest resource planning and management, ecosystem services and natural capital, technological innovation in the forestry and environmental sectors
