Biography
LEONARDO VARVARO is an Associate Professor of Phytopathology Bacteriology at the University of Tuscia di Viterbo.He is author of over 250 scientific publications in national and international journals.
Research Interest
Biological, epidemiological and genetic aspects of some host-pathogenic interactions, with particular reference to crops of agricultural interest; studies on bacterial colonization of tissues and plant fillplants; possibility of biological fight against fungi and bacteria by using resistant cultivars, antagonists bacteria and natural chemicals; use of integrated fighting methods for the control of phytopathic bacterial and fungal etiology.
