NICLA ROMANO is Associate Professor in Comparative Anatomy and Cytology at Department of Ecological and Biological Sciences at the University of Tuscia.He has been an auditor of two USA / Israel Binational Projects also has been and continues to be an international reviewer for Tissue & Cell, Fish Biology, Cell and Tissue Research, Fish and Shellfish Immunology, Histology and Histopathology, Anatomy Research International (Hidawi-open access) Developmental and Comparative Immunology, PlosOne, Comparative Biochemistry and Physiology, Medical Research Archives.
Research Interest
Neuro-immuno-biology in aviary models; Immunobiology Comparison and development of immune system of teleosteal fish, applied and basic research; Regeneration of organs by adult stem cells; Identification of molecular mechanisms based on the differentiation of human and murine neuronal cells.
