Biography

NICOLA LACETERA is a Professor at the Department of Agriculture and Forests, (DAFNE) of the University of Tuscia. He is a Field Editor (Animal Biometeorology) for the International Journal of Biometeorology; Member of the Open Veterinary Science Journal of the Editorial Board and Reviewer for Animal Research, Cell Proliferation, International Journal of Biometeorology, Journal of Agriculture and Food Chemistry, Journal of Dairy Research, Journal of Molecular Endocrinology, Journal of Animal Science, Latin American Research Review, Livestock Production Science, Small Ruminant Research, The Open Veterinary Science Journal, Italian Journal of Animal Science, Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, India Section B: Biological Science, Nutrients, Molecular Biology Reports.He is also a Co-author of over 200 scientific publications.

Research Interest

a) Interactions between metabolism, immune response and health status in ruminant milk species. b) Effects of thermal heat stress on the physiology, health and performance of the milk cow.
