Biography

ROBERTA MESCHINI is a Researcher at Department of Ecological and Biological Sciences of the University of Tuscia.He is also a Referee for the international magazine Mutagenesis.He has extensive experience in the field of Radiogenicity and Chemistry Mutagenesis.He is author and co-author of more than 60 communications to National and International Congresses.

Research Interest

Study of DNA damage repair mechanisms induced by chemical and physical agents in cell lines; Study of the response to DNA damage and maintenance of genomic and chromosomal stability after exposure to chemical and physical agents in normal human cells derived from genetic syndromes; Radiosensitivity study in cells derived from individuals with Ataxia telangiectasia genetic syndrome; Study of potential animal and plant organisms as bioindicators of genotoxicity.
