Biography
SILVANO ONOFRI is Full Professor of Systematic Botany at the Faculty of Mathematical, Physical and Natural Sciences of the University of Tuscia.Within the University of Tuscia he was vice-director and director of the Tuscia University Botanical Gardens, acting Director and head of the Plant Ecology Section of the Department of Environmental Sciences, and member of the Administration Council.SILVANO is also an author of over 100 publications in international scientific journals.
Research Interest
Mycological researches (taxonomy, molecular taxonomy, ecology, temperature preferences, UV resistance, and secondary metabolites production of antarctic microfungi).
