Elena Giaretta

Biography

Dr. Elena Giaretta is currently working as a Associate Professor in the Department of Department of business administration, University of Verona , Italy. His research interests includes MANAGEMENT. He /she is serving as an editorial member and reviewer of several international reputed journals. Dr. Elena Giaretta is the member of many international affiliations.She has successfully completed his Administrative responsibilities. He /she has authored of many research articles/books related to MANAGEMENT.

Research Interest

Since 2011 she is conducting studies on innovation and structures to sustain it, focusing on startup and small and medium enterprises. In particular she is studying the technology transfer relationships towards small and medium enterprises, the cognitive and emotive barriers to technology transfer between research structures and small enterprises, the role of interpersonal trust an models for increment it, the role of mentoring to sustain innovation and startup, the partnership to support startup development, the science parks and other forms of technology intermediaries. The first results of these studies has been presented in international conferences and are collected in a monographic work and in an original article published on a journal ranked “A” by Anvur National Agency. For this article she also received a money award from the Fund for the Merit of the Department of Business Administration of Verona University. She is also currently studying the topic of business vitality evaluation. She take part of the following national research projects: - The FIRB projects (2003): sub-project “The redesign of the financial infrastructure for small and medium-sized enterprises”, as part of the Project Objective 2b) “New competitive development dynamics in the knowledge community”.
