Biography
He graduated in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Bologna in July 1975 with 110/110 cum laude. At the same University he obtained the Diploma of specialization in Diseases of the Digestive System in February 1980 with 70/70 and Lode. In June 1978 he was hired as Assistant Gastroenterologist at the Hospital of Bologna, Policlinico S. Orsola-Malpighi and in June 1986 became co-responsible helper. From 14 February 2007 to 31 October 2015 he was Director of the UOC of Gastroenterology and Digestive Endoscopy of the AUSL of Rimini. From 2002 to 2006 he taught as a contract professor in the 2nd level Master in Advanced Endoscopy of the University of Bologna, Castel S.Pietro Terme (Bo).
