Biography
Graduated with thesis in Ophthalmology in Padua. Specialized in Modena in 1993 with a thesis on cornea transplants. Collaborator of prof. Since 1989, since 1989 he has been studying and computerizing for the Eye Bank of Ravenna, gaining considerable experience in corneal transplants. Since 1988 he has been interested in refractive surgery and above all excimer laser for the correction of refractive defects (myopia, hypermetropia and astigmatism). Since 1991 he has developed with Prof. Dal Fiume the new phacoemulsification techniques in cataract surgery. Buy good experience in retinal surgery. Author and coauthor of about 60 publications.
