Genomic DNA extraction in agarose plugs, PFGE, enzymatic restriction, Northern and Southern blot, hybridization and simple PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) and multiplex, RT-PCR.Techniques for the study of bacterial resistance mechanisms to antibiotics (beta-lactams and glycopeptides) in Staphylococci and Pseudomonas from patients with cystic fibrosis.
