Biography

Andrea Fossati, born in Milan on November 27, 1963, after classical studies at Liceo Ginnasio "A. In the 1991/1992 Academic Year, he attended and passed the admission exam at the School of Specialization in Clinical Psychology at the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of the University of Milan, becoming the first in the ranking of merit. In December 1992 he participated in the competition for the VIIIth PhD Program in Research Methodology of Psychology Research. Having regularly attended the courses, he regularly completed his PhD in three years, discussing the following PhD thesis: "The categorical model of Personality Disorders under Axis II of DSM-IV. Since November 2002 he is Associate Professor of Clinical Psychology at the Psychology Faculty of the San Raffaele Health and Life University of Milan (confirmed since October 2006). Since September 2007 he is a member of the ISSPD Board.
