Biography
Actual position: FIRB researcher (FIRB-RBFR1332DJ project "Coding of multimodal space in first visual maps") for a long time at the Department of Psychology at the San Raffaele Vita-Salute University and consultant at the Department of Neuroradiology - CERMAC of the San Raffaele Hospital - University Vita-Health San Raffaele. Education: 2002: Degree in General and Experimental Psychology at the San Raffaele Health and Life University. 2008: PhD in Research in Experimental Psychology, Linguistics and Cognitive Neuroscience at the University of Milan Bicocca (Supervisor Prof. N Stucchi) and Specialization in Cognitive-Behavioral Psychotherapy at the Cognitive Studies of Milan (Dottoressa S. Sassaroli). 2009-2010: Research grant at the Department of Psychology, University of Florence, supervisor Prof. DC Burr. 2010-2011: Research grant at the CNR Institute of Neuroscience in Pisa, supervisor Prof. DC Burr. 2011-2012: Post-doc at the Stella Maris Foundation of Calambrone (Pisa); under the supervision of Prof. MC Morrone. 2012-2013: Post-doc at the Department of Neuroradiology - CERMAC of the San Raffaele Hospital - San Raffaele Health-Life University, under the supervision of Prof. A Falini. Teaching activity: At the Vita-Salute University, San Raffaele has been teaching as a teacher in the courses of Sensory Systems, Psychology of Perception, Neurobiology of Vision, Psychobiology of Action and Perception and Applied Cognitive Psychology.
Research Interest
He has collaborated in the following research projects: European E-TRACKING project (Prof. D Zambarbieri), European CEE-MEMORY project (Prof. MC Morrone), European CEE-STANIB (Prof. AC Burr) project and several national research projects. He collaborates with several research groups and his main research interests relate to several aspects of Cognitive Neuroscience and Perception: visual system development, plasticity processes in the developing and adult brain, even in the case of pathologies of the visual system, and multisensory processes involving vision and hearing, motion perception, visual-spatial attention and the study of eye movements.
