Biography

Graduated in Medicine and Surgery with the highest marks and praise at the University of Brescia (1988), Specializing in Odontostomatology at the University of Turin (1992). Researcher University of Brescia F13 / Odontostomatologic Diseases from 1992 to 2000 Associate Professor MED / 28 Odontostomatologic Diseases since 2000, confirmed in the role in 2003. He mainly occupied prosthetic teaching (including maxillo-facial prosthesis) From 1992 to 2009 he has been practicing clinical activity at the Odontostomatologia Servizio di Spedali Civili in Brescia. From 1994 to 2000 he was a referent of Outpatient Activity at Pedodontics and collaborated with Pediatrics by treating the orto-dental diseases of immunodepressive and oncologic children and dealing with the dental preparation of children to be subjected to bone marrow transplantation. From 2000 to 2009 he has been a reference point for Outpatient Removal Exercise and has devoted mainly to the problems of special needs patients in collaboration with the departments of Otorhinolaryngology and Maxillo Facial Surgery, developing a constant maxillofacial prosthesis rehabilitation activity for the care of facial district oncologists. Since October 2009 she has been responsible for the Odontostomatologia - Maxillo Facial Surgery of the San Rocco Hospital (Ome) San Donato Hospital From March 2015, following a competition, she moved to the San Raffaele Health-and-Health University where she holds Prosthetic Teaching in the Degree Course in Dentistry and Dental Prostheses. He actively collaborates in Maxillo-Faccial prosthetic and rehabilitative research with other national and international universities and has organized international congresses in the field of maxillofacial prosthetics and rehabilitation. He participated in the "Post-Oncological Prosthetic Rehabilitation Dentistry" working group on the drafting of the Clinical Recommendations for Dental Medicine published in January 2014 by the Ministry of Health. He is co-author of numerous publications on national and foreign magazines and three books. Founder and member of the National Board of Directors of the Italian Society of Prosthetic and Implant Prosthetic Odontostomatology (SIOPI) since 2001 (foundation year), President of the Italian Society of Prosthetic and Implant Prosthetic Odontostomatology (SIOPI) for the two year 2014/2015. Founder of the Society Italian Maxillo Facial Rehabilitation (SIRMF)
