Biography

Born in Bologna he graduated in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Bologna with 110/110 and praise with a dignity of the degree thesis. He specializes in Orthopedics and Traumatology with 70/70 and praise at the Orthopedic Clinic of the University of Bologna at the Rizzoli Orthopedic Institutes . He has studied at prestigious foreign university centers to deepen his experience in the field of hip surgery, such as the Hospital for Special Surgery, New York , USA and Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore , USA. He was a Research Fellow for a year at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, USA. She attended the Royal Orthopedic Hospital, Birmingham, Great Britain, learning under the guidance of Dr. Derek McMinn the technique of hip jacket arthroplasty. UNIVERSITY ACTIVITIES He started his university career at the Orthopedic Clinic of the University of Bologna at the Rizzoli Orthopedic Institutes. In 2000 she was qualified as Associate Professor (MED33). In 2002 he was appointed as Associate Professor (MED33) at the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Bologna. In 2007 he was eligible for Ordinary Professor (MED33). In 2007 he was appointed Director of the School of Specialization in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Bologna. In 2010 he was called by the Faculty of Motor Science at the University of Bologna. In 2013 he obtained the National Qualification for Ordinary Professor in Diseases of the Locomotory Equipment. In 2016He was appointed as an Ordinary Professor at the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery at San Raffaele University of Milan, where he teaches teaching activities in numerous Degree courses. ASSISTANCE ACTIVITY She has provided her medical care under the convention scheme at the Rizzoli Orthopedic Institutes in Bologna from 1986 to 2011.
