Biography

Biography and curriculum Ordinary of Social Psychology at the Faculty of Psychology of the Vita-Salute University of Milan, where he teaches at the CdL in Psychological Sciences and Techniques and the Master's Degree in Clinical and Health Psychology. Lecturer at the UniSR Clinic Psychology Specialization School, the UniSr School of Medicine (CdL in Dentistry, CdL in Nursing and CdL in Dental Hygiene Sciences). He also teaches at the Master's Degree in Health Communication UniSR - USI Lugano, Switzerland (double degree). Degree in Psychology of Work and Organizations (University of Padua). Ph.D. in Social Psychology (Dr. Phil.) (University of Bielefeld, Germany - Advisor: Prof. RA Wicklund, PhD). He has taught 'Social Psychology', 'Psychology of Evaluation' and 'Experimental Research Techniques' at the University of Kiel (Germany) and 'Social Psychology' and 'Cultural Psychology' at the University of Bielefeld. He is a member of the Association of Experimental Social Psychology, the Association for Psychological Science (APA), of the Society for Personality and Social Psychology and of other professional associations. He is a consultant, as a referee, for various national and international scientific journals. He deals with social motivation and influence, self-persuasion processes, health communication and psycho-social research and intervention methodologies in social and health organizations. He has published various scientific works on the subject. He co-authored, along with Robert A. Wicklund, of the theory of multiple perspectives. He founded and directs, since 2014, the UniSR-Social.Lab. Among its various activities, the Laboratory works, in close collaboration with several Departments and UOs of Medicine and Surgery, and with the biomedical industry, the analysis and validation of protocols, instruments, procedures and technologies in the hospital and health-care sector , through the use of specific knowledge and quantitative and experimental methods of psychosocial matrix. The scientific publications and products of UniSR-Social.Lab are therefore both the bio-medical sector in general (UniSR-Social.Lab - Research Methods) and the most strictly psychosocial (UniSR-Social.Lab - Social Psychology) natural and profitable intersection of both areas of investigation, research and intervention (UniSR-Social.Lab - Research Methods & Psychosocial Research). Within just three years of its foundation (2014 - 2017), the activity of UniSR-Social.Lab has led concretely the students (graduates, doctorates and specialists from various faculties, schools and addresses), research groups, professionals, companies, UOs and departments that have been addressing the creation of over twenty scientific articles published on major peer-reviewed national and international journals and the publication of fifteen contributions to congressional acts of renowned national and international conferences in the bio- doctor, communication, health and psychosocial. UniSR-Social.Lab has also contributed to the design, drafting, discussion and / or critical review of important projects and research initiatives to achieve appropriate and cost-effective clinical and psychosocial endpoints.
