Biography
Prof. Matteo Trimarchi is an associate professor at the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery at the Health Life University in Milan and at the Otorhinolaryngology Unit of S. Raffaele Hospital in Milan. He graduated in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Pavia in 1996 with 110/110 with Lode and specializes in Otorhinolaryngology at the University of Brescia in 2001 with 50/50 with Lode. As far as professional deepening is concerned, he has spent periods of study and study at Hospitals and Universities (including the S. Thomas Hospital and Guy's Hospital in London, the Department of Anatomy, Harvard University, Boston, of Otolaryngology, Mayo Clinic of Rochester, and Royal National Throat Nose and Ear Hospital, London University College). From 2002 to date he has performed 3960 interventions in the field of head and neck pathology. He has been researching in various fields of specialty, specializing in the study of nose-paranasal endoscopic pathology and surgery, and in the study of head and neck tumors. Of particular interest are the results obtained in the study of central-facial destructive lesions of cocaine abuse. He is the author of 87 publications on national and international journals, 2 chapters of books and two data storage systems and images of patients with paranasal sinuses. He has been a tutor in the "Full-Immersion Practical Exercise Anatomy and Operating Techniques in Brussels at the Service of Anatomy, Faculté de Médecine, ULB" from 1999 to 2006. He is a member of the American Rhinology Society, the Italian Society of Otorhinolaryngology, the European Society of Rhinology, the Italian Academy of Rhinology (founding partner), the Spanish Society of Otorhinolaryngology (honorary member).
