Henry Faulds

Biography

 There he gained a reputation for being a distinguished physician and also became involved in archaeological digs in Japan which led to his fascination with fingerprints. He conducted several experiments over the next few years to prove that fingerprints are unique to an individual and can be used as a method of signature.

Research Interest

After conducting several experiments and examining a significant collection of fingerprints, Henry Faulds came to the conclusion that each person has a unique fingerprint.
