Biography
Dr. Allen joined Advion in 2001, establishing Advion’s European organization, now headquartered in Harlow, UK. He is the Managing Director of Advion Ltd., responsible for the sales, marketing and support of Advion products in Europe. He also has overseas sales responsibility for specific Advion product lines. Dr. Allen has over 25 years of LC/MS business experience, spending 3 years with Vestec Corporation commercialization the ion source developed during his Ph.D. and 7 years with Applied Biosystems®/MDS SCIEX®. He has held positions including Director of Proteomics Marketing, and Director of Business Development responsible for LC/MS product strategy.
Research Interest
He has a Ph.D. in organic mass spectrometry specializing in electrospray from King’s College, London with two credited patents. He has completed the Consortium for Executive Development Program at Babson College, MA.
