Biography
Dr. Gupta has over 13 years of experience in sales and marketing of analytical chemistry instrumentation and consumables. Prior to joining Advion he was Head of International Sales and Distribution at Biolin Scientific AB in Sweden where he led sales and marketing operations in Europe, South America and Asia of high-tech precision instruments for research within surface, material and bio-science, drug discovery and diagnostic applications. Before this Dr. Gupta spent more than 10 years at Biotage AB as Director of International Sales in Sweden, successfully managing sales and marketing operations throughout Asia, South America and major parts of Europe for microwave, flash chromatography, evaporation and sample preparation technologies.
Research Interest
He earned a PhD degree in Chemistry from Punjab University India and then spent more than 5 years as Post Doctoral fellow at Uppsala University Sweden and Melbourne University Australia in organic chemistry, publishing more than 13 research publications and a book chapter. He specializes in organic synthesis, purification and characterization of small molecules.
