Biography
Dr. Cordon-Cardo is a distinguished clinician and researcher recognized internationally for his groundbreaking research in experimental pathology and molecular oncology. His research has focused on the analyses of multidrug resistance, alteration of tumor suppression genes in human cancer and on the isolation and characterization of human cancer stem cells. He has also contributed to the development and implementation of the oncology molecular pathology discipline and helped create the "systems pathology platform.
